Thomson Township summer seasonal opportunities: Thomson Township is hiring a seasonal worker to assist with grounds maintenance at the Town Hall and Northridge Park as well as other public spaces. Position will require push-mowing and weed trimming and other miscellaneous maintenance duties. Up to 20 hours per week, $13 per hour. Summer seasonal opportunities-Cloquet

City of Cloquet summer seasonal opportunities: The City of Cloquet is now accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill seasonal positions in our Streets/Parks and Utility departments. Positions will be scheduled 40 hours per week (M-F) from approximately the end of May through mid-August. Streets/Parks: Assists with general maintenance on City properties and streets including landscaping, lawn mowing, weed removal, street repair, pothole patching, and other manual labor. Hourly wage: $10.50 - $13/hour Utilities: Assist with maintenance and repairs of City water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems including manual labor. The qualified candidate will participate in designing an innovative menu with an emphasis on tacos, and remain up to date on techniques and trends in order to modify or create menu items • be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and presentation, observing sanitation and legal regulations • lead by example in working with staff to seamlessly accommodate shifting priorities with professionalism • work with selected supply vendors to discover new food and service options • coordinate travel and event details, and interact on social media to inform customers of operating hours and location, specials, loyalty programs, and more • fulfill budget expectations. Required qualifications: training as a chef from an accredited culinary school or equivalent years of practical experience • experience with food trucks/mobile food preparation, or at least a passion for food trucks and mobile catering • be a problem solver and accept responsibility without requiring constant oversight and instruction.
