MLWSSD Superintendent

The Moose Lake Windemere Sanitary Sewer District (MLWSSD) is seeking a Superintendent for their sanitary sewer collection system, which serves the area of Windemere and Moose Lake Township. The system currently serves approximately 500 connections with 12 miles of infrastructure and 14 lift stations. Duties: Oversee the upkeep of the lift stations by keeping them accessible and operational; coordinate the maintenance and repair of all equipment, pumps and sewer lines; maintain records as they relate to maintenance of lift station, manholes, flow data, jetting, and televising; issue permits and provide inspections for hookups and disconnects to the existing sewer line. The position is part-time, but the candidate must be available to deal with emergency situations as they arise to ensure the sanitary sewer system is operational. Required: At least a Class D Wastewater Operator Certificate or willingness to obtain it shortly after hire; and some experience with maintenance.
