Esko's Jane Osborne said after reading Pine Knot News outdoors writer Bret Baker, she bought one of his recommended fishing lures and caught and released a nice big small-mouth bass near the DNR dock across from Perch Lake (off Highway 33 in Duluth's Fond du Lac neighborhood). "I was fishing for whatever I could get," said Osborne, who said she was thrilled to catch such a good-sized bass. "I love fishing."
