Daisy the dog gives a kiss to Northern Lakes Rescue founder Shannon Steele after getting a microchip Saturday. Daisy's owners, Alyssa and Kris Young, said they were thrilled knowing that someone could scan their dog for a chip and find them easily if she ever gets out again. Steele said the rescue microchipped 260 animals Saturday.
