Amelia Allen, far right, ran with a pack Saturday at the state meet. She said she enjoyed her first year on varsity. And she had a big victory at state. "I didn't feel like I was dying the whole time," she said, adding that she was surprised by the amount of falling in the race. She didn't fall.
