The Shaw family played a major role in the construction of the first and second library buildings in Cloquet. Pictured clockwise from left are Willis Shaw, Edward Shaw, Hattie (Shaw) DeLescaille, George Stearns Shaw, Mary (Ross) Shaw (center) and Cordelia (Shaw) Lynds. Hattie and Cordelia donated most of the money to build a new library after the 1918 fire.
