A Covid relief bill passed by the state legislature Monday includes grants for businesses hit hardest by the pandemic, such as the movie theaters in Cloquet and Moose Lake. Premiere Theatres is not showing movies now because of the latest state mandate, but they are open from noon to 4 p.m. daily to sell gift cards and concessions through Christmas. Movie theaters must remain closed until Jan. 11.
