Don Solwold feeds Rowdy, an American buffalo, by hand when he was a calf 10 years ago. He explained that Rowdy's mother had twins and accepted only Hannah, the female twin. That meant Don moving the bull to his house, and feeding it from a bottle every four hours while brushing it with a wide-paddle brush to simulate its mother's tongue. Rowdy is now the herd bull.
