Churchill principal Dave Wangan greets students with fist bumps, lots of "Good Morning" greetings and the occasional hug Wednesday morning before school. The Cloquet elementary school was recognized as a national Blue Ribbon School for 2022. The recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.
