Mark Sagvold, left, and Mark Thell presented a check to 4-H extension educator Katie Siltanen Feb. 1 on the behalf of the Minnesota Farmers Union of Carlton County to begin the Carlton County 4-H endowment fund. Thell also made a personal donation. The endowment, at $7,000, is seeking donated funds to reach $10,000 before it starts to disseminate program funds.
