John “Mikwamiiwigaabow” (One Who Is Standing on Ice) Martin Jr., 79, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019. Visitation was held Feb. 9 in the Sawyer Community Center, and the funeral service was held Sunday, Feb. 10. Burial will be in the Sawyer Cemetery.

Bradley Richard Bong, 57, of Cloquet, Minn. died Friday, Feb. 8, 2019. A memorial was scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Presbyterian Church of Cloquet. Inurnment will be in Culver Cemetery this spring.
