The Inter-Faith Care Center has been part of the City of Carlton for several decades, and recently received a two-year grant for $300,000 from the Minnesota Department of Health. The grant, “Improving Residents Lives through Meaningful Activities,” will help Inter-Faith provide direct care for the mental health, psychosocial, physical and spiritual well-being of the residents. The grant will help to increase staff time to 98 1/2 hours per week in the activities department, and Cedar and Oak Units, providing staff consistency from sunrise (7 a.m.) to sunset (8 p.m.).
