Grace M. Otteson, 98, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Parklane Care Center in Wentzville, Mo.

She was born Sept. 8, 1920 in Hibbing, Minn. to Carlo and Vittoria (Giovian) Colalillo. Grace worked at Diamond Match in Cloquet for many years, and retired in 1974. She also worked at the Pine Knot in Cloquet. She enjoyed bowling, softball and golfing. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and a member of the Italian American Club auxiliary. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Carlton.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Alfred Simonsen; her second husband, Harold Otteson; three brothers, Patrick Colalillo, Albert Colalillo and Michael Colalillo; and five sisters, Concetta Cucinelli, Nicoletta Roth, Mary Sisto, Jennie Price and Carmella Colalillo.

She is survived by her daughter Trudy (Vernon) Wills; grandchildren Theresa (Wills) Zimmer and Tami (Bruce) Dyck; great-grandchildren Brendan, Bailey, and Brady Dyck; great-great-grandson Xander Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Memorial Mass Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Carlton. A Carlton VFW Auxiliary memorial service will be held prior to the Mass. Luncheon will follow in the church social hall. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
