Earth Week at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College starts at 9 a.m. with special presentations by Stephanie Bostwick, TCU Coordinator for the Office of Indian Energy, and Mindy Granley, Sustainability Officer of City of Duluth. More events through Thursday, April 25. Free, public welcome.

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Earth Week “Ethics in Phenology” symposium 9 a.m to 3 p.m. with speakers Larry Weber, regional phenology educator and field guide author, Crystal Greensky, John Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, Michael Waasegiizhig Price, and FDLTCC students. Showcase of student works from multiple disciplines and performance by the FDLTCC choir 4-6 p.m. Free, public welcome.

Carlton County Trailblazers luncheon meetings the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, Cloquet VFW, 210 Arch St. Social hour 11 a.m., April 24 roast beef meal 12 p.m. Suggested donation $15. Presentation on successful gardens by guest speaker from University of Minnesota Extension. All men and women 55-plus welcome.

Cloquet Public Schools annual ZIIGWAN powwow at Cloquet Middle School, with master of ceremonies Frank Goodwin.
