The Carlton County Historical Society invites the public to an open house Saturday, May 18, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to help celebrate its new ownership of the Shaw Memorial Library building. Admission will be free all day, and there will be coffee, snacks, and live music, plus a continuous slide show featuring barns of Carlton County. The Historical Society is located in the Shaw Memorial Library building at 406 Cloquet Ave.
