Esko dominates at subsection meet

Ben Hansen of Cromwell-Wright takes first place in the men's 400 meter subsection race last week, followed by the Rebels Grant Pettit in second and Sam Stadin in third.
The Esko boys track team triumphed in the 7A subsection meet May 23, coming in 44.5 points ahead of second-place Barnum, with 128.5 points to Barnum's 84. Moose Lake/Willow River took third with 81 points and Two Harbors took fourth.
On the girls side, Proctor took first (87)and Two Harbors came in second with 81 points. Esko placed third with 76 points, and Cromwell-Wright tied Duluth Marshall for fourth place with 72.
