Patty Phillips was recently elected to the Marshall H. and Nellie Alworth Memorial Foundation board.

Phillips graduated from Martin Hughes High School in Buhl and went on to earn an associate of arts degree with high distinction from Hibbing Community College, followed by both a bachelor’s of science in elementary education and a master’s degree in education from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
