The Carlton County board of commissioners is asking for input on changing the county auditor/treasurer job from being an elected position to an appointed position. The public hearing will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Carlton County transportation building, 1630 Highway 61, Carlton. All interested individuals may appear and be heard there.
