The 13th annual Karl Kalli memorial golf tournament was held Aug. 2 at the Cloquet Country Club. Karl graduated from Cromwell High School in 1959 and his family has honored his memory by holding this tournament. The proceeds go to the Cromwell-Wright sports programs.

There was a great gathering of former employees of the Diamond Match Company for a potluck picnic at the public park in Esko on Aug. 4.
