Caterpillar and snowplow fans in general will gather in celebration of the revitalized Thomson Township D8 Caterpillar-powered snow plow starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Esko Museum. The D-8 tractor and snow plow, homed at the museum and out of operation since restoration was completed in 2002, will be started up at about 11:30 a.m. The public is invited. Members of the Minnesota Chapter of Antique Caterpillar Owners plan to be present for the event. Refreshments provided by the Esko Historical Society.
