'Mermaid' is a smash hit

The Cloquet High School production of "The Little Mermaid" last weekend was both spectacular and record-breaking. The first fall musical in the newly renovated CHS auditorium sold out all four shows for the first time in theater department history. According to director Kevin Hamre, the auditorium holds 520 seats and they added 24 more folding chairs to accommodate the overflow. "We sold out to the max and more each night," Hamre said.
