Carlton to hold public hearing

The city of Carlton will hold a special public hearing at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at City Hall on 310 Chestnut Avenue in Carlton.
City Clerk Carol Conway said the city is applying for a grant through USDA Rural Development, and the hearing is required as part of that process. It will be an informational meeting to discuss funding sources for city equipment, including the purchase of a pickup and two lawn mowers....
