Our sympathy to the family of Allan William Karki Sr., 79, of Cromwell who passed away Jan. 9 with his children by his side. Upon Al’s request there will be a private family burial in West Branch Cemetery in Kalevala Township in the spring.

Allan was the principal during the years that I taught in Wright (1968-1993) and we had many good times over the years. Our faculty was like a family and we enjoyed getting together with him from time to time during retirement. He was always encouraging and helpful to the staff. He will be especially missed by Bill Hoppe and Johnny Manninen.
