The Carlton school district alerted parents Feb. 13 that a student had “made a verbal threat to student safety” at the middle school/high school but the threat was deemed not viable. Superintendent Gwen Carman said the situation was investigated by administration and reported to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.
