State hockey update: Lady Lumberjacks up by 2 after first period

Thanks to two goals by senior Taylor Nelson, the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks are beating Warroad 2-0 after the first period in today's state semi-final game at the Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis.
Nelson's first goal came at 12:15 of the first period off an assist by by senior Kiana Bender.
Nelson's second goal was a slapshot at 15:04, with the assist from freshman Emily Litchke.
