The annual Carlton County Emergency Medical Services awards were presented at the Carlton County board meeting Monday. EMS chairman Steve Trenhill presented Andrea Peterson, left, of Mercy Ambulance with the "EMS Person of the Year" award, and Mike Peterson, right, received the "Lifetime Achievement with EMS" award. Mike Peterson has been active in the Cromwell-Wright fire and ambulance district since 1984.
