Grocery and pharmacy delivery options for those who must stay home

For those who are at high risk if infected or homebound, you don’t have to risk it. A number of local pharmacies and grocery stores offer home delivery. Following is a list compiled by the Pine Knot News staff. Please call 218-878-9332 to be added to the list, and leave a message.
GROCERIES
Age Well Arrowhead/SuperOne
Age Well Arrowhead offers a grocery shopping and delivery service for older adults and those who can’t go out to shop for themselves in the Cloquet area.
Age Well Arrowhead partners with the Super One Foods store in Cloquet as well as Superior and the Duluth Kenwood and West Duluth neighborhoods.
People should call 218-623-7800 to register first. Clients call in on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and noon, and groceries are delivered on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on location. Age Well Arrowhead bills clients $15 for each shop and Super One bills them for the groceries. Clients can register and use the service only when they need it. No computer access is needed.

Delivers grocery orders. They ask customers to call the night before or that morning by 9 a.m. with the order, they will call back with cost and deliver for an additional $2 charge for Cloquet and or $3 for Carlton and Esko.

Carlton Meat and Grocery

Delivers in the Carlton area for $1 extra (above cost of groceries), check cost for further distances. Call 218-384-9910 and give order by 11 a.m. if possible, they pick out, call back with total, and deliver as soon as it’s practical, usually the same day.
TJ’s Country Corner
2751 Market Street, Mahtowa
Delivers in Mahtowa, Barnum and Moose Lake area. Call 218-389-6257 to order. Also offers premade heat-and-eat meals like chili and pasties.
Walmart
1308 Highway 33 South, Cloquet
Hermantown and Superior Walmart stores have full online shopping and curbside pickup available. In Cloquet, people can order a few basic necessities (toilet paper for example) online and pickup at the tower inside.
Check out walmart.com/cp/store-pickup for more information. Walmart stores also announced they will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. for customers until further notices, so the stores can restock and sanitize.
