David E. Myllymaa, Sr., age 77 of Cloquet, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. He was born May 20, 1942 to Einar and June (Mullen) Myllymaa in Cloquet, Minnesota. David was the owner/operator of numerous retail stores in the Cloquet area over the years. He was never afraid to give it a go, with a new opportunity that came his way. David enjoyed target practicing and shooting in his younger years and he also found pleasure in gardening later in life.

David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, David (Susan) Myllymaa and Brian Myllymaa; his daughter, Rona (David) Myllymaa-Williams; his grandchildren, Travis, Cody, and Dakota Myllymaa and Taavi Myllymaa-Williams; and his beloved dog, “Billy.”
