Happy Fourth of July to everyone. For me as a kid growing up in Cloquet, the Fourth of July was the highlight of the summer. People came from miles around for the big parade, the carnival rides at Pinehurst Park, family picnics and celebrations. In the evening my parents took all three of us to the fireworks at Pinehurst Park. And it was usually hot, sunny and humid, like the weather has been lately. It really was an exciting and fun day.

Enjoy the Fourth of July celebrations as limted as they are. Stay safe by wearing a mask with social distancing.
