Super One, Walmart require masks

July 17, 2020

Two Cloquet grocery stores are now requiring all customers to wear masks or face coverings at their stores here.

Super One announced that effective Tuesday, July 14, masks or face coverings will now be required in-store at the following Super One Foods and Super One Liquor locations: Michigan, Duluth, Pike Lake, Superior, Cloquet, and Two Harbors. Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. Single-use face masks will be available at the service counter for $1.

According to a company statement issued Wednesday,

effective Monday, July 20 Walmart will require customers to wear face coverings at all Walmart and Sam’s Club stores across the country. The company stressed the fact that face coverings help decrease the spread of COVID-19, and the fact that it’s “critically important for everyone to wear a face covering in public and social distance.” To help implement the new requirement, all stores will have a single entrance and post “health ambassadors” at the entrance to help find a solution when customers arrive without masks.
