Lavina E. Doddridge, 82, of Osceola, Wisconsin passed away Aug. 10, 2020, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

She was born to Albert and Eva Pearl New on May 17, 1938, in Detroit.

Lavina married Norval Doddridge on Nov. 10, 1956, and they enjoyed 64 years together. She loved going on trips and cruises with Norval, Richard and Donna, Bud and Janet, and other friends and family. She enjoyed her time around the water, and she also loved the desert. They spent a lot of time at lake cabins in Cloquet and Jackson, Michigan. She and Norval went to most family events and celebrations. She always had a smile on her face and was known to be the life of the party. She was fun to play cards with and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a "favorite aunt" to her nieces.

Lavina was preceded in death by her son, Glen Doddridge, and six siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Norval; daughter, Brenda (Kevin) Howard of Hudson, Wisconsin; son Norval Doddridge Jr. (Marie) of Medford, Oregon; six grandchildren and, as of now, six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
