August 28, 2020

Joshua "Josh" L. Koski, 39, of Laramie, Wyoming, formerly of Cloquet, passed away in his home on Aug. 10, 2020.

Josh was born on April 16, 1981 in Cloquet to Scott Koski and Tina Fontaine. He attended schools in Cloquet, Duluth and Grand Forks, North Dakota. In September of 2012, Josh fell in love with the Rocky Mountains while working there. He loved nature, and he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and hiking with his best friends Molly and LeRoy. Josh lived a simple life - a free spirit, adventurous, fearless, and an independent guy. He had a lively sense of humor. Josh was always happy, and his smile was contagious. He was a hard worker and had many talents in the world of work, from sandblasting and painting water towers to working in the oil fields to being a chef. There was not a job he was afraid to take on. Josh will be sadly missed by those who love him.

Josh is survived by his father, Scott (Amy); mother, Tina Fontaine; sisters, Angel (Evan) Rosemore and Katie (Cody) DeMenge; brother, Joel Fontaine; and niece, Peyton, and nephew, Xander.

A celebration of Josh's life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Nelson Funeral Care, Cloquet. Inurnment will be in New Calvary Cemetery. To leave an online condolence, visit the guestbook at http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
