People express views by displaying signs, but some are being vandalized

There have been a number of reports of stolen or damaged political signs. Above, Jim Crowley's yard in Cloquet is awash in signs offering many messages to folks walking or driving by, but he brings his signs inside every night because he doesn't want them to be stolen. Below, Tony Sheda and Cindy Bourn said they repaired a Donald Trump sign outside Frandsen Bank and the Maytag Laundry in Cloquet about 10 times, with strangers helping out more than once (pictured).
