Vern Northrup selects a tomato from the Leaning Barn Farm stand at the Carlton County Farmers Market Saturday, while Ruth Jorgenson stands by to advise on produce and marvel at the remarkably large rutabagas this year. In addition to fresh produce, there are canned jams and jellies, dilly beans, handmade pottery and other various offerings available around the market in Cloquet's Premiere Theatres parking lot off Highway 33. The final day is 9 a.m to noon this Saturday, Oct. 17. It will reopen next June.
