We are saddened to hear of the death of our dear friend Elaine Rose Huhta, 86, longtime Cromwell resident. She passed away Nov. 13, the 64th birthday of her only child, Kevin Hamre. She taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Mora before spending the rest of her career as a second-grade teacher for Cromwell-Wright Schools.
