George Thomas Paquin of Coon Rapids, formerly of Cloquet, passed away on Nov. 28, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Genevieve Paquin; two older sisters, Marjorie Paquin and Jacqueline Morrissette; and brother-in-law Edward Morrissette. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan; daughters Leah and Sarah; and 10 nieces and nephews.

George attended the University of Minnesota Duluth before proudly serving in the U.S. Army. He spent most of his career in real estate in the Twin Cities area. He loved fishing, watching his daughters play sports, the Minnesota Twins, gardening, and going to "grab a bite to eat" with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed. A private service and interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery was planned for Thursday. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
