Carlton County residents are encouraged to recycle their Christmas trees during Treecycling, a free program with dropoff locations throughout the region that will take trees through Jan. 11.
• SAPPI Fine Paper gatehouse entrance, Cloquet.
• Moose Lake compost site across from city garage.
• For other locations, visit wlssd.com
Holiday light strings can be recycled at the Carlton County Transfer Station.
