Obituaries: Isabelle "Izzy" V. Lindholm

Isabelle "Izzy" V. Lindholm, 86, passed away Dec. 25, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born July 7, 1934, in British Columbia to Harry and Vivian Beck. Izzy married her high school sweetheart, Robert Lindholm, Oct. 30, 1954, in Fort Frances, Ontario. They moved to the U.S. and became naturalized citizens. Izzy loved family gatherings and spending time at the cabin on Rainy Lake in Fort Frances. Her hobbies included genealogy, collecting dolls, golfing, sewing, singing and especially dancing. Izzy loved to joke around, and was always dancing and singing. She was a kind, sweet and bubbly person and never lost her personality even when dealing with dementia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and brother Roy Beck. Survivors include her children, Becky Linnea Lindholm of Florida; Victoria Lindholm of Duluth; Mark (Mary) Lindholm and Lori (Pat) Meisner of Cloquet; grandchildren, Alyse (Joel) LaFontaine, Blythe (Steve) Thomas, Joshua (Jess) Meisner and Sierra (Jake Schwinn) Lindholm; great-grandchildren, Lillyana, Calysta, Elle, Brooks, and Hope; siblings Ray Beck of British Columbia, and Mona (Brian) Avis, Ted (Colleen) Beck and Tom (Sherry) Beck, all of Fort Frances; and numerous nieces and nephews.
