Wednesday, Jan. 27

Ruby’s Pantry distributes food every fourth Wednesday of the month in Cloquet. Doors open at 10 a.m., last shares distributed at 11:30. Donation: $20. This month’s distribution is Jan. 27 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1705 Wilson Ave. Questions, 218-499-8584.

Monday, Feb. 1

Smear League will resume meeting 2-4 p.m. the first four Mondays at the Cloquet VFW. $5, winnings for first, second and third place. Covid restrictions apply.

The Salvation Army food shelf is open every Tuesday 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. It’s a drive-thru service for now: pull up, and get a box of food, plus meat and bakery products. Call 651-746-3407 to find out more about the different Salvation Army programs helping people in need.

B&B Market and the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency have been distributing boxes containing produce, dairy, meat and milk starting between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. every Thursday afternoon, until supplies run out. On holidays, they may come a day early, so check the B&B Facebook page for details each week.
