Margaret L. Jarvis, 91, a resident of Sunnyside Health Care in Cloquet, passed away March 4, 2021 with family by her side.

She was born Oct. 31, 1929 to Otto and Emma (Gardener) Peil. Margaret married George Jarvis, and together they raised their seven children. She worked for Diamond Match and retired in 1992. Margaret enjoyed cooking, traveling, and dressing up for Halloween and going trick or treating for her birthday. She treasured the time spent with her family and caring for them.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; son Wayne; and daughter-in-law, Susan; daughter Diane Schmidt and son-in-law, Gary Schmidt; granddaughter Michele Jarvis; brothers, Jim, Leo, Roger, Martin and Robert; and sisters Rosemary, Maxine and Delores.

She is survived and deeply missed by her children Donald (Linda) Jarvis, Linda Toms, Suzanne (Brian) Grover, Robert (Tammy) Jarvis and Brenda (Mark) Toms; her sisters Joyce Lindquist, Jean Ann Godbout and Kay Koski; sister-in-law, Mary Peil; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
