Now that the Walz administration has expanded the groups of people eligible for the coronavirus vaccine, nearly 2 million people are expected to have had the shot within the next few weeks. The governor said this week that he expects to have vaccinated 80 percent of the state’s population in the next few months, which could mean “herd immunity” and a return to more normal social gatherings. Let’s hope that’s correct.
