Start your July Fourth on the right foot, by running in the 10th annual Sawdust 5K: Kill the Hills race at Pinehurst Park in Cloquet. The race begins at 8 a.m. on July 4, winding its way through the hills of central Cloquet before returning to the park. Registration for the Sawdust is $25 at tempotickets.com/sawdust2021 before July 2 and $30 on race day.

Too long or too early? The LaVonna Provost 1-mile run down Cloquet Avenue starts at 10:45 a.m., before the 11 a.m. parade. Line up at Avenue B and 18th Street around 10:30 a.m. The race is free.
