Judge Robert Macaulay rode his bike to work at the Carlton County Courthouse for the last time Tuesday, Aug. 31. This time he wasn't alone making the trek: nearly 10 co-workers joined him at the Scanlon Park and Ride lot along with several police and sheriff's department cars for the final leg of the ride. With lights swirling, the group made its way down the shoulder of Highway 45 between Scanlon and the courthouse in their helmets and brightly colored clothing.
