Web alert: Cloquet girls soccer take fourth at state

It was quite a run ... and now it's over. The Cloquet girls soccer team took fourth place in the Minnesota State High School League Class AA girls soccer tournament, falling 6-1 to Academy of Holy Angels Friday, Nov. 5.
Alexa Snesrud scored the lone goal for Cloquet off an assist by Katie Turner in the most lopsided game of the tournament for the Lumberjacks. Cloquet lost 3-0 to Benilde-St Margaret's, another private school, in the semi-final round Thursday, Nov. 4.
