Karisa Kay Disberry, née Waltjer, 37, of Cloquet passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, in St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was born on Dec. 3, 1983 in Minneapolis to Richard and Kathy Waltjer. Karisa graduated from Cloquet High School in 2001. On Nov. 11, 2011 she married Taylor Disberry in Cloquet.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Plainview Estates.

Karisa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Waltjer, and sister, Kimberly Waltjer.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Taylor, of Cloquet; her mother, Kathy Waltjer of Cloquet; grandmother, Wanda Rustvold of Cloquet; nephew, John Waltjer of Carlton; and goddaughter, Stella Derusha, of Cloquet.
