Stephanie Victoria Rankila, 82, of Cloquet, passed away Nov. 11, 2021, at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton. She was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, on Jan. 9, 1939, the daughter of John and Veronica (Krawchuck) Fichuc.

Stephanie will be remembered as being a generous person and an excellent cook and baker. She loved to have family and friends over for meals.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Rankila; son, Kevin Rankila; and numerous relatives. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Rankila; her sons, Bruce and Brian (Rebecca) Rankila; and granddaughters, Megan Rankila (Matt) and McKenzie Rankila (Collin).

Visitation: 11 a.m. until a noon memorial service Jan. 9 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, followed by a luncheon in the fellowship room. A spring burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Carlton.
