Our sympathies to the family of Liz Thom, 76, who died Jan. 5, 2022. Her nursing career included serving as a school, clinic and home care nurse in Cromwell and for Carlton County Public Health. She was also a leader in Christian education and music in Cromwell and other areas churches. Services were scheduled for Jan. 13.

Jill Eichenwald recently emailed, thanking me for my list of those who passed in 2021; and although she doesn’t know many people in the area anymore, she does “like to send up a prayer for all of them, and especially for the few I know — like Siiri Peterson.” I sure miss Jil...
