Emily Regas competed at the Minnesota state high school Alpine ski meet Wednesday, as the sole Lumberjacks qualifier. Regas placed 29th out of 88 skiers at the state meet, with runs of 41.96 and 43.43 for a total score of 1:25.39. She placed sixth at the Section 7 meet last week to earn her way to the state meet, while the girls team placed fourth overall at sections. The CEC girls team is young, with no juniors or seniors, so expectations are that the squad will be very competitive for the next couple of years.
