Jennifer Ardell Jaakola, 59, of Cloquet passed away March 10, 2022, after a short battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 25, 1962, the daughter of James and Cookie (Hubbell) Jaakola.

Jennifer was a beloved grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She could often be found playing Spider Solitaire on her computer or watching one of her many favorite reality TV shows.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ted and Clara Hubbell; paternal grandparents, Jalmer and Clara Jaakola; and her sister Jolene Jaakola Folken. She is survived by her parents, James and Cookie Jaakola; her three children, Emily (Darrell) Davey, Trevor (Mikayla) Pajunen, and Blake Pajunen; her four grandchildren, Avery and Quinn Davey and Evelyn and Ryker Pajunen; sister Julie (Kris) Stensberg; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bella.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, March 19 at Nelson Funeral Care. A lunch reception will follow. Pink will be worn to honor Jennifer's memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. To leave an online condolence, visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
