County Seat play postponed until May

“Suite Surrender” has surrendered to the pandemic, at least for now. The first weekend was postponed when one actor got Covid, now the second weekend is also postponed after two more actors came down with the bug.
“We decided to stop all rehearsals and shows to let our actors recoup and to stop further infections,” said general manager Joel Soukkala. “We have taken Covid very seriously over the last few years while still finding ways to be creative.”
The County Seat Theater Company will now present live performances of ‘Suite Surrender’ on May 13-15 and May 20-22, at the Encore Performing Arts Center in Cloquet.
The theater will host a few musical events in the coming weeks as well as the Carlton High School production of ‘Check Please’ on Saturday, April 30 at 2 p.m and 6 p.m.
